Honey Roasted Peanut Butter Cookies

This is the recipe I have been searching for years for.  Growing up, my high school had some of the best baked goods, and their peanut butter cookies were amazing.  Large, like as big as your hand, they were crispy, but chewy with little bits of crushed up peanuts throughout.  I have never found any cookie like it and have tried numerous recipes trying to get that distinctive chewiness.  These and their Taylor Ham sandwiches were about the only things I would get there, although the chocolate chip cookies were pretty damn good too!

I am simply going to copy the link here, because I have absolutely no claim to them whatsoever. I originally found the recipe in People magazine, no judging!, but they do feature some decent chefs in there and I have found some great recipes.  (Carla Hall’s Paprika Chicken was another great find, search for it, you won’t be disappointed!).
