Saw this recipe and even though I’m not much of a baker, I knew I had to try this. Not much of pie person either but maple syrup? Yea that I can get into. I will link the recipe from Food 52. Note I used Pillsbury Pie Crust and really good Maple Syrup, Runamok Vanilla Infused Maple Syrup. Pricey for such a small bottle but definitely worth it in this recipe. I also did not make the mascarpone topping, I just felt that would be too heavy, rich and sweet so I just went with whipped cream.
This was a huge hit and I will definitely be making it again.
